Charlie Fong

Charlie is a journalist and multimedia storyteller aspiring to work as a war correspondent in the Middle East. Passionate about human rights and social justice particularly in the Arab World, she is currently pursuing a BA in Arab Crossroads Studies at NYU Abu Dhabi, a highly selective liberal arts college in the United Arab Emirates.

She has extensive journalistic and humanistic work experience, having written for the South China Morning Post (Young Post) since she was twelve and subsequently taking up roles at Coconuts Media and The Gazelle. She has also worked for various think tanks, charities and community organizations in Hong Kong and beyond.
